Lady of Paradise, Hazrat Syeda Fatima Al-Zahra (RA), is the youngest amongst the all four daughters of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). She was born before the proclamation of Prophethood and was brought up in the arms of Prophethood, learned the principles of life and practiced them to the fullest. She was endowed with the blessed attributes of wisdom and intellect. Further, when it comes to the virtues of morality, intellect and insights regarding the faculties of Deen, the personality of honorable Fatima Bint e Muhammad was the wondrous embodiment of all.

She was the most similar to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in manners and speech. The extent of her Generosity was that she never returned a beggar empty-handedfrom her doorstep. To be always kind to others was her norm. The noble qualities like the Recognition of Allah; the only Supreme Deity, obedience of the Prophet, Piety and Taqwa, purity and chastity, putting trust in Allah and pursuit of Divine Pleasure, and contentment were the part of her propensity. There are 18 narrations from her in the collection of hadith.

Hazrat Syeda Fatima got married to Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza in 5 AH. 400 Mithqal (1 Mithqal= 3.64 g) of silver seal was fixed, as her Mehar. She says that, at the ceremony of her going away, her beloved father advised her not to embarrass her husband by demanding anything. She, the Queen of Paradise, used to do all the housework herself. She even used to get blisters on the hands due to grinding flour with a mill and cleaning the house. Blowing the stove would make the clothes look dusty, but she was never be afraid of hard work and service. In spite of this service and hard work, her worship of Allah did not diminish. Her beloved elder son, Hazrat Hassan narrates that he had always found her mother worshipping, weeping and wailing before God, asking prayers from dawn till dusk. Once Beloved Prophet returned from the battlefield, Hazrat Fatima welcomed him by putting carved curtains on the door of her house, and silver bracelets on Hazrat Hassan and Hussain. When he visited Hazrat Fatima’s house as per rotinue and then after seeing the unnecessary

worldly stuff, he went back. When Syeda Fatima found out about his dislike, she tore the curtains off and removed the bracelets from the children’s hands. They both came weeping, to  the blessed service of Holy Prophet. He said: “They are my Ahl-e-Bait. I don’t want them to be polluted with worldly temporary adornment.” In return, Beloved Prophet bought a stone necklace and ivory bracelets for Hazrat Fatima (R.A).

Once, Holy Prophet, asked Hazrat Fatima about the traits of Muslim woman. She described that woman should obey God and His Messenger, have compassion on the children, keep her eyes down, hide her adornment and do not see anyone else. She should not stare anyone and also let no one else stare her. He was very delighted to hear this from his daughter.
